Frequently asked

My prayer times look wrong.

Prayer times are computed from your location. Open Settings → Location and tap “Refresh location,” then choose the calculation method your community follows under Settings → Calculation method. Times are shown in your device's time zone.

The Qibla compass doesn't point correctly.

The compass uses your device's magnetometer. Move your phone in a figure-8 motion to calibrate it, and step away from metal objects, magnets and phone cases with magnetic parts. A clear view of the sky improves accuracy.

Which languages are supported?

The Quran is available in Arabic plus English, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, French, Persian and Bengali. Change the language under Settings → Language.

Where does the Quran and Hadith text come from?

The Quran is sourced from the Tanzil project. Hadith are drawn from established collections including the Forty Hadith of an-Nawawi and the two Sahihayn. Hijri dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar; local moonsighting may vary by about a day for Ramadan and the two Eids.

Prayer reminders aren't appearing.

Enable them under Settings → Prayer reminders, and make sure notifications are allowed for Muslim Daily in your device's system Settings. Reminders are scheduled on your device — open the app every few days so it can extend the schedule.

What is the Sadaqah button?

It opens a secure donation page in your browser. Donations are voluntary and keep the app free, ad-free and growing across languages. They unlock nothing — the app is fully functional without contributing.

What data does the app collect?

None. Muslim Daily has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers. Your location is used only on your device to compute prayer times and the Qibla, and is never transmitted.
